Ready, set, go....
Day camp is just around the corner, Tuesday, June 23 - Friday, June 26th. Here is some general information about camp. Things you should bring everyday
For the adults that will be at camp (optional but suggested)
Dropping off First thing is get with your den because carpooling is highly recommened. If you can't find someone to carpool with or you are planning on dropping off and pickup yourself here is the procedure. Parents dropiing off should try to arrive no later than 5 minutes before camp starts. Each pack has an assigned drop-of area starting across camp sites 1-4. Leaders will escort the scouts ot the "sport field" for the opening. Leaders with siblings should take them to an assembly area next to the drop-off area. What if we are late or need to pick up the scout early? If your scout is late or you need to get him early you must go to the scout headquarters building. Picking up your scout Parents can pickup their scout at 2:30pm in the pack assembly area by authorized persons only. A leader must know that the scout is leaving. If you have any further question please email daycamp@mypack1550.org

CSI - Cub Scout Investigators - Polaris District DayCamp
I know where I'll be June 23-26....Cub World at Camp Strake! Are you going to daycamp? There's no excuse to miss it! For the second year in a row any scout who sells 20 Scout Fair tickets will have the cost of camp covered by the Pack. This is the last year we'll be going to camp as the Polaris district and the directors are working hard to make this last year the best year ever! With CSI as a theme, science, forensics, BB guns, Archery and an alligator, who could go wrong?? If you want to go, let your den leader know as soon as possible because time is running out for early registration. Also, the registration process has changed, so we need to give our den leaders a little time to figure them out! There will be two other registration dates, but the cost of registration increases with each one. If you have any questions please contact Kat Amundsen kat@barefootgiggles.com or Anna Foreman cookwithanna@hotmail.com As with most Cub Scout activities, this camp is run exclusively by volunteer manpower. This means we need YOU! Please consider this when you think of what you want to do this summer. I promise, volunteering as Adult Staff or joining your den as an "Adult Walker" is a real memory maker! Deadline are as follows.
New Medical form
If you are going to daycamp you need to fill out the NEW BSA medical form. Click here to download it and return to your den leader. If you would like to read more about the BSA medical form you can see more infomation here. |
