SouperBowl of Caring

Wow! Thanks to dens 10, 17, 2, 1, and 16 (The Thunderbolts) the "Souperbowl of Caring was a great success on Satuday Jan 17th.  We helped HEB sell $2,042 in food dontations to the Houston Food Bank.  HEB actually said that we sold all the bags they made and was the highest sales of the weekend. All the boys should feel very proud to have helped such a good cause.

Sunday, Jan 25th we will have another full day lets see if we can beat it.

Dens we need your help

Blue and Gold is coming up. We need some help with collecting silent auction items and raffle prizes.  If you know someone or a company that can help in donating items it would be great. Please let Robert Birkline know.

The second thing that we need all dens to do is start getting a basket together for the silent auction.  It went over great last year so we are doing it again.  Please get with your den leaders on the average values of these baskets and details for your den.

Blue and Gold is going to be centered around a "birthday party" so get ready to have a blast.

Congratulations to Den 10 and Den 16

Congratulations to Bear Den 10 and Weblos Den 16 in placing in the 2008 Polaris District Pushmobile.  Den 10 placed 8th for the Bear Rank giving there den the first win of the afternoon.  Den 16 placed 5th as I remember finishing up the afternoon for the pack. This was a good year for our pack and two of our dens placed, horray!

For those that don't know this is the last year for Polaris and what a way to go out.  Congrats boys and we look forward in seeing you place again next year.

Pushmobile Details and timeline

RACING DAY
Here is how the day will go.

Your car will show up for the final inspection. All cars get inspected. Once this is done, you just gather your team and wait till race time.
We do not do any check in for scouts or teams. Just car.

When a Rank is racing or about to race, we will call for all teams to get their cars and placed into the racing order. This will be located to the right of the Operations area.
There will be a coordinator to put the cars in order. All teams will have their racers at that time.

If you do not have enough to race, this is easily fixed by asking scouts that just finished racing if they would like to race on your team. More chances to win.

ADULT RACE, Each year, this gets bumped to the end of the race. Just expect this just in case. Also, this is an amusing race to watch and participate in. Don’t miss this!

PACK RACE will be signup at the event Only. Not via e-mail. You never know if you will have enough scouts at the time of this race. You need 2 Tigers, 2 Wolves, 2 Bears and 2 Webelos from your Pack. No substitutions of boys from other ranks.

Wolves Race followed by awards

Pack Race  followed by awards (Team consists of 2 Tigers, 2 Wolves, 2 Bears, 2 Webelos) – No borrowing from another rank or pack. Sign-up for this will be on Race day.

11:15 am 

Adult Race  followed by awards (Team consists of leaders or adults in the pack) *

12:00 pm 

Bears Race  followed by awards

1:15 pm 

Webelos I Race  followed by awards

2:15 pm 

Webelos II Race  followed by awards

Pushmobile is coming Dec 13th

Don't forget that Pushmobile is coming up Dec 13th at Spring High school.

Make sure that your team is ready the cost is $5 per scout if gotten in before November 6th round table after that it is $7.
