Cub scout graduation is quickly approaching and we want to make sure everyone is kept up to date.

Graduation will be at Spring Woods UMC on Sunday, May18th, from 3-5PM (should be shorter). We need adult volunteers and one scout from each den for the flag ceremonies.  See your Den leader for details.

Adult volunteers are needed to make programs handouts, make and bring deep dark red liquid, make wolf biscuits, buy/prepare/set-out refreshments, operate the Wolf-o-Matic, and escort scouts and parents.

Remember get with your den leader about open positions.  It is very important to have help so that the event can run smoothly.  Remember your leaders will be running the event and can't do everything.

Yee-hah! If you haven't yet heard, Cubs in the Wild West is coming to Camp Strake June 24-27th, 2008. Twilight camp is for Webelos Cub Scouts and Day camp is for Tiger Cub, Wolf, and Bear Cub Scouts. For more information check the June calendar.

Road is clean up is May 3rd at 8am. We do need those new parent release forms filled out and returned to either you den leader before May 3rd or just bring them to the event. Help the pack break the 110lb record.

New Ticket Sales Schedule!!
Leaders need to pick up their tickets!
Sales made before March 22 earn scouts triple stamps. Sales made between March 24 and April 5th earn double stamps. From April 6th until April 17 scouts earn single stamps. Each boy that sells 10 tickets earns a super salesman patch and those that sell 20 tickets earn free day camp! And each time a boy that sells 10 tickets he can enter a weekly drawing for a backpack filled with Grand Prix memorabilia.

March 29th Den 10 and Den 15 participated in trashbash at Cagle state park.  This is a yearly event that helps the park systems keep there parks clean.  This year we clean down the banks of Lake conroe picking up many bags of trash including an old engine block.  We are planning on doing this next year so tell your den leaders about it next March.

The Spring Campout is quickly approaching, April 4 - 6th. The first day to register of the Campout will be at the Blue and Gold Banquet. This year it is $30 per family and space is limited to 40 families. Deadline for payment is March 11th if space holds out.

We will be hosting a Astro Derby this year and going to the Observatory (a nomial fee additional).

Campout is now full and we have all 20 campsites filled up. Don't forget to start working on those space derby flyers more information on official rules coming soon.

This has been a long awaited moment, but the pack finally has a website up. MyPack1550.org is the new site where you can find calendar events, post activities and read the Scout Scoop. This is the newsletter which will later replace the paper copy you receive now.
