New Ticket Sales Schedule!!
Leaders need to pick up their tickets!
Sales made before March 22 earn scouts triple stamps. Sales made between March 24 and April 5th earn double stamps. From April 6th until April 17 scouts earn single stamps. Each boy that sells 10 tickets earns a super salesman patch and those that sell 20 tickets earn free day camp! And each time a boy that sells 10 tickets he can enter a weekly drawing for a backpack filled with Grand Prix memorabilia.

March 29th Den 10 and Den 15 participated in trashbash at Cagle state park.  This is a yearly event that helps the park systems keep there parks clean.  This year we clean down the banks of Lake conroe picking up many bags of trash including an old engine block.  We are planning on doing this next year so tell your den leaders about it next March.

The Spring Campout is quickly approaching, April 4 - 6th. The first day to register of the Campout will be at the Blue and Gold Banquet. This year it is $30 per family and space is limited to 40 families. Deadline for payment is March 11th if space holds out.

We will be hosting a Astro Derby this year and going to the Observatory (a nomial fee additional).

Campout is now full and we have all 20 campsites filled up. Don't forget to start working on those space derby flyers more information on official rules coming soon.

We smashed our record of 54.2 pounds the new record is 109 pounds. This event was a great success thanks to the scout and parents that help.

A special thanks to HEB on Louetta for donating the donuts to those scouts and parents helping in the event.

Don't forget the Cub Scout birthday celebration. The theme is "Discovering the Far East" and each den will be decorating two tables using this theme as well as a symbol from the Chinese zodiac. The planned menu and entertainment for the evening are coming together nicely.

Scouts are asked to arrive at 5:15 p.m. so that we can begin promptly at 5:30. The location will once again be at St. Ignatius Catholic Church located at 7810 Cypresswood Dr.

The Pinewood Derby is this Saturday, the 26th. Registration will begin at 11:00 a.m. and closes at 12 sharp, so be sure to be in line by 11:45! Once your car is registered, and has passed final raceday inspection, feel free to start viewing the other cars to vote for your favorites in design, originality, etc. Voting will be from 12 noon til 1:00 p.m. The race will start at 1:00 p.m.

Remember, this is Scout night with the Aeros as well, so take advantage of the edible goodies that will be on sale during the race so as not to go to the hockey game hungry!

These are the boys whose popcorn sales ($250 and up) earned them the right to toss pie at the Cubmaster. I hope next year we can devote a whole Pack meeting to pie throwing!

Whoa boy, that was fuuun!!

This has been a long awaited moment, but the pack finally has a website up. MyPack1550.org is the new site where you can find calendar events, post activities and read the Scout Scoop. This is the newsletter which will later replace the paper copy you receive now.
