Hello Scouters! We have scheduled Coupon Pack sales this weekend at the Kroger on Champion Forest, Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 5pm. Getting out early is important because people haven’t yet bought this year and the girl scouts haven’t been there every weekend selling cookies. Please sign up for sale times by sending an email to Sally Griffin. Some reminders: In order to sell Coupon Books at Kroger you must have a printout of our Email from SHAC granting us permission for the dates and times we are there. The Booklets cost $10 each. They are as good as money so any unsold booklets must be returned or paid for. Each Scout that sells 20 booklets has their Day Camp registration paid for in full. For each booklet sold the boys earn stamps that can be redeemed at Scout Fair or the Scout Shop for prizes or scout shop gift certificates. Boys that go above and beyond will receive extra recognition by our pack. Our Pack receives 30% of our sales back to us, 40% if we have a Scout Fair Booth, so keep the date of April 24th open to help with the Scout Fair Booth. All participants in Scout Fair will receive a participation patch. There are weekly drawings so if a boy completes selling 10, please get their money and envelope to Sally or Peggy as soon as possible so we can have them entered in the weekly drawing. By demonstrating dedication to five of Scouting’s core values, Cub Scouts and others can earn award ribbons to hang from the 100th Anniversary Commemorative patch. A Year of Celebration, A Century of Making a Difference is fun, engaging and—most importantly—shows America the impact of Scouting through its commitment to these values. A Year of Celebration will be in effect from Sept. 1, 2009, through Dec. 31, 2010. To get the requirement click here to download the pdf. The BSA 100 patch (earn the ribbons) is available at the scout shop for 1.99 each. Leaders track and will need to purchase the ribbons through the website. Spring Campout
